    Pros: Cute doll for any fairy loving child or adult collector. Magical & fun for kids. The talking fairy face in the mirror is engaging with guiding through potion making process. The doll reveal is additionally magical with a confetti action which can be reset & reused. The mirror is beautiful purple with cute designs of swirls, crescent moons & stars in a raised relief format & can be reset to do the reveal with a lever in the back of mirror. The potion making is a one time deal, and the whole process needs to supervised with an adult present especially with the potion making and reveal process as the doll flips out quickly from the mirror and you don’t want any small hands in the way. Additionally there is a fortune telling mode that works with yes or no questions and the fairy face in the mirror has a variety of ways to answer essentially yes/no/maybe. The doll is approximately 10.5” which is significantly larger than the 6” Pixlings that come in the genie bottles. To my understanding there’s a 1 in 6 chance of getting a special edition version. We did not get the special edition but the doll is gorgeous with a beautiful butterfly purple pink ombré butterfly pattern dress with gold foil crescent moons, butterflies, & star details. Her accessories are a hot pink color headband, she has blue sparkle butterfly antennas & wand brush, a beautiful multi layered necklace, earrings, purple butterfly shoes all these are molded accessories & removeable except for the antennas. She also has wings & has ball joints in the shoulders, elbows & knees. The doll comes with a stand or she can stand in the holder attached to the mirror. The doll can also be stored in the mirror. There is also a cauldron for mixing potion, a spell book & Magic Mirror Instruction Manual. Only requires 3 double A
    batteries.
    Cons: doll is difficult to remove after reveal. The dress is beautiful but the material is cheap and is only printed on the outside. The packaging doesn’t allow for the hair style to remain with the nice waves & curls shown in advertising pic but otherwise looks the same. The price point on average is around $50 which makes for a pricey doll. The mirror is pretty but bulky.

    I bought this doll mostly for display purposes but the pixling dolls never fail to disappoint with fun unboxing methods. I’m sure any child would enjoy the process (though parents may be a little frustrated- lol.) doesnt come with batteries and you will need them to get the doll out so keep that in mind!

    The price, admittedly is high but honestly since you’re getting two toys for this and a magical experience to get the doll, I’m fine with the price. The appearance of the doll and mirror toy is great and the quality is pretty decent. The mirror is sturdy and the doll is well made, my only complaint is the dress and the wand look and feel cheaper than the rest of the doll, but otherwise it’s great.

    Not to mention the experience was adorable and fun, it’s kind of like build a bear where your kid gets the feeling that they’re “making” the doll by making this little potion. And the surprise at the end that reveals the doll was super fun and memorable.

    All in all, you get a fun magic eight ball style magic mirror toy, a doll, and a fun little memory!
